I also have a picture of an F2 which was a console model of the EX70/G6 but the quality is not good enough to upload. They also made a G4 which was a 49 note version of the EX60. The third picture, taken in an organ store is a white G6 (49 note version of the EX70) with inbuilt FD. Tony Pegler played the GX7 at the World Music Festival and Rosemary Bailey the A1. The GX series was never sold in Japan.Īlso in the background is the SM-AC80 which was a GX7 module, the organ next to the GX7 was an A1 version 2 which was a concert version of the F5 as opposed to the original A1 which was based on the F3 The second picture is of a concert style GX7 that was specially made for use at the festival. ![]() I remember being told that this organ was made for use with a famous orchestra, although I can't remember which one. The first is a picture of the DD10 (I think that's the correct model number) taken in the Technics factory. Apologies for the quality, but these pics are copies of the not very good quality originals! ![]() Back in 1989 I was fortunate enough to be part of Technics dealer trip to Japan for the first Technics World Music Festival, this included a visit to the musical instrument factory and a Technics organ dealer and I've stumbled across some photos I took at the time.
